For X-men fans, Dazzler played a breif but key role in the Hellfire Club/Dark Pheonix saga, and then went on to her own brief series.

 the unique aspect of the # 1 issue is that it is considered the 1st "Direct marvel" publication, no UPC code etc. on the cover.  Cool painted cover and Spider-man co-stars. X-men make an appearance!
